Today in our fight against nature deficit disorder, Lucy and Lydia created, as the title states, salad cake with pickles. They topped it off with some "flower candles". Fortunately, we do have a birthday dog in the house: Matty! Next Saturday the 27th is Matty's 10th birthday. One whole decade with our first baby.
So, to make that digression make sense, we sang happy birthday to Matty and shared in the special treat.
