Lucy and Lydia

There have been a few nights here and there when Lucy and Lydia have come out of their room together to tell us that they are scared. We listen to them and then remind them that we are here watching over them. We always go in and check on them before we go to bed, and I typically check on them 3 or more times before I go to bed. Anyway, so when we tell the girls to go back to bed, they look at each other and say, "You be brave for me and I'll be brave for you."

So truly precious. More precious than I can articulate. When we are old we will savor those sweet moments. Thank you, Jesus, for these beautiful children.
