Tonight while I was laying on the floor reading a Junie B. Jones book to Lucy and Lydia, Lydia exclaimed, "Mommy! You have magic in your hair!!"
I smiled because I knew she had just noticed my gray hair. I asked her what color was the magic. She started to answer and then paused. Lucy answered, "It's brown and white!"
All I knew to say to describe how much I LOVE that was to tell them that they both bring so much joy to my heart. It's true. They do. And I'll treasure that moment forever.
