Madison Stayed the Night!

Last week when Madison was here during the day on President's Day, Lonnie (her dad) had several asthma attacks and could not get that last one to resolve so my sister took him to the emergency room here in KC and he was actually admitted because they decided he had walking pneumonia. He was in the hospital until sometime during the day on Thursday! Whoa.

Victoria works 12 hours a day Friday through Sunday on the weekends so she can be home with Madison all during the week. She's a great mom. Lonnie, still recovering from pneumonia, had a weight-lift limit of 10 pounds, among other restrictions to continue to help him get better. Madison is just a little bit bigger than 10 pounds now at 15 months old. :) Lucky for me that meant that we got to keep her Saturday night and Sunday!

Saturday night I pretty much got Madison and then put her to bed for the night, which was surprisingly easy!

Sunday morning! We were up, dressed and ready to watch the dogs play in the backyard!

Madison took a little break from watching the dogs and decided to rearrange the dinning room chairs, but quickly decided that Aunt Amber wasn't ready for that and went back to watching the dogs!

They are more fun than chairs, anyway.

Madison likes to knock on the door and yell out to the dogs!

She was in such a good mood!! She was being silly and here, she was laughing really hard at me laughing really hard at her!

Matty is so good with Madison. She checks on her and loves on her, but not too much.

Ready and waiting...for what I'm not sure exactly. The food sharing for the day had not really begun at this point. Perhaps in sheer hope and anticipation, Matty is just laying at Madison's feet!

After Madison's 2.5 hour nap (wow!!) she was perfectly content to sit in Uncle Joseph's lap and watch some b-ball!

Kota gets so excited and she just cannot seem to contain herself! Madison got lots and lots of pooch smooches throughout her stay. She has come to accept them with calmness! That's so cool!!

Here Kota was being reigned back in by Uncle Joseph and Madison is trying to stick her hand in Kota's mouth!

I love this one!! More doggy watching in the backyard. This time with Uncle Joseph!

Bottoms UP!

Isn't she so cute?!!? :)

We had fun! Thanks, TOR! And Lonnie, we're so glad you're feeling so much better now!
